The Mara Dress is a satin dress with matching ribbon and lace trim at the neckline. A-line cut skirt with a small tier at the hem. Invisible back zip closure.
Handmade to order by a single mother in Indonesia. Fits true to size. Please allow 2-6 weeks of production time as the clothing is made by one craftswoman.
Provided length is preferred for a more accurate fit. If you leave the 'Length' text box blank, we'll use our standard length.

I ordered this dress back in late April and it had just arrived today. It was so beautiful I placed another order of this dress in another fabric! I chose black satin for my first order. The fabric is soft and it looks luxurious. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I love supporting small businesses and Whimsical Lace is my current favorite to shop from.
This dress was my first purchase from this brand, and while I had high expectations for it already, I couldn’t be happier with my experience buying from this shop.
I have a difficult time finding dresses that fit me just right because of my height, but this one fit me perfectly with minimal adjustments. It’s very comfortable to wear, too. Right after I tried it on, I immediately ordered another dress that I was initially hesitant about getting. After seeing the quality and care put into the making and packaging of the dress, it is clear that the price is fully justified.
I wore the Mara Dress for my graduation this past week, and it’ll definitely be a go-to for years to come.
The customer support I received when I DMed them on Instagram was so helpful and kind as well. Overall, I could not recommend a dress (or shop) more than this one.
Stunning dress, looks exactly how I imagined. The fabric was beautiful and soft and the dress fits really well. I did have an issue where both of the straps had their stitching come completely undone at the front (one of them whilst I was in public which was a bit stressful). Everything else is perfect and I didn’t have this issue with the other dress I purchased. It was a quick easy fix to sew back and overall I’m still really happy with my purchase :)
